Scope:
Information Technology, F&A, and other back office operations
Objectives:
The client's objective is to evolve a Global Operating Model in Asia Pacific by considering offshoring strategy for Operations, Finance and Technology business areas.
Activities:
Alsbridge supported the Support Change Management Programme Director by defining the Off shoring project approach, strategy and implementation plans for all support activities i.e. Communications, HR, Training, IT etc. Mobilising key project stakeholders in providing input and key decisions (e.g., HR consultation process requirements). We assessed the Business Case Model, provided migration support to Operations by reviewing/adapting their implementation plan and globalisation framework to Information Technology.
Results:
The Alsbridge strategy development phase resulted in the:
  • Identification of key decisions required to be made for this project.
  • Completion of an Asia Pacific location assessment, including Grants & Incentives negotiation.
  • Creation of a detailed project transition framework including tools/templates for migrating an in-house offshore shared services center.
  • Identification of gaps within the existing Business Case model.
